London, England

We were greeted by the white cliffs of Dover this morning as we sailed into port. The weather was chilly and overcast but with some sunshine and temps in the 59 degree range. All in all, the weather cooperated and we had a good tour.

We drove 2 hours through the countryside to get to London. Our first tour was a boat ride on the Thames River from Tower Bridge to Westminster. We then went for a ride on the London Eye, an enclosed ferris wheel that takes a half hour to make one revolution. It. is extremely high and a great way to take in the sights of London.
Afterwards, our tour guide took us to lunch at the Marriott . We had a lovely lunch and then proceeded to walk across the bridge by Big Ben and the Parliament buildings. From there we toured Westminster Abbey. We really enjoyed London and would love to go back.
