Today we arrived in Lisbon, Portugal to breezy sunshine with a high of 68 degrees.
Our tour took us to the ancient town of Sintra and the seaport town of Cascais.
Sintra was interesting but lacked the upkeep of other small villages we have visited in Europe.
Cascais was a mix of old and new and well kept. We enjoyed the visit there.
When we got back to the ship, we had to wait on a very long line to go through Portugal security. We had to have our video camera bag hand examined. Whatever they were looking for is beyond us. They ran the bag through the scanner a second time and finally let us go.
We have to move our watches forward again and now we will be 6 hours ahead of east coast time. The wind is strong tonight and the seas are up. We are heading to Vigo, Spain. We can't complain though as our trip over was wonderful.

The bridge over the Tagus River in Lisbon.
It is the largest suspension bridge in Europe.
